DAY 1

Longwa – Nestled in the border of India & Myanmar. A village with dual citizenship. A home to the konyak tribe of Nagaland famous for their headhunting skills and known as the headhunters and a unique culture of tattooing in their face and body.
Namphake – A village in the state of Assam – house to one of the community descendent from the hills of Burma – The Tai Phake Community. Unique Lifestyle and food habits. They follow the Theravada Buddhism and something interesting to know about them.
 
Day 1: Dibrugarh – Mon.
 Let’s catch up. Through the tea garden of Assam we take the curve bumpy road and reach Mon. If time permits after we checked – in to our rooms we will visit one of the largest Konyak Village – Hongphoi. Hongphoi village is also known for being one of the strongest village than. Evening relax and time to know the team.

DAY 2

Day 2: Sheanghah Chingnyu – Longwa.
 Wake up early, we leave at 8 AM. Many interesting things to experience. We will visit Sheanghah Chingnyu will experience the customs and then will drive towards the famous Indo – Myanmar Border village – Longwa.

DAY 3

Day 3: Longwa.
  Many interesting things to experience. Stepping in the house divided by the Indo Myanmar border, hike upto Border pillar, meet the man who makes gun for the Konyaks and not the least meet the person who have experienced the headhunting himself – the tattooed headhunter.

DAY 4

Day 4: Namphake.
 Let’s make the trip more special. Meeting the headhunters now let’s interact with a small community of Assam – Tai Phake. The peoples, the food and specially the Theravada monks. Don,t be late in the morning as there is something special in the morning.

DAY 5

Day 5: Bye – Bye.
 
 With all the memories, we adieu goodbye. Dibrugarh airport.
